Troubleshooting
Here you can explore solutions to some common issues users face.
I probably have a poor internet connection and the file upload is stuck at zero progress
If your file upload is stuck at zero progress due to a slow internet connection, try the following:
- Set the
File Chunk Sizesetting to 5 MB. - Cancel the current file being uploaded.
- Re-run the upload with the new setting by right-clicking on the file in the grid and choosing Re-run "your file".
Access denied when uploading a file
If you see an Access Denied message when uploading files with Video Ingester, it usually means your JMSharp API key is missing or incorrect.
Please verify that you have entered the correct JMSharp API key in the settings.
After entering the JMSharp API key, make sure to click the button Save settings for the changes to take effect.
File upload failed – contest code not recognized
Each fight video you upload is linked to a unique contest code.
For the upload to succeed, this contest code must match an existing fight’s contest code in either JudoManager or Judobase.
If you see a message saying that the contest code is not recognized, it usually means the configured JMSharp API URL is incorrect — for example, you may be trying to upload to JudoManager while using the Judobase API URL, or vice versa.
If you are uploading to JudoManager, make sure you have also set the correct Partner ID in the settings (see the this section for details).
In other words, the contest code of the fight you are uploading must exist in JudoManager for the selected Partner ID.
Configuration error: missing IdPartner setting
This warning appears when the IdPartner value is not set in your settings.json file.
To fix this:
- Close Video Ingester.
- Open the
settings.jsonfile. - Update the
IdPartnervalue with the correct partner ID. - Restart Video Ingester.
If you’re unsure which Partner ID to use, please contact the Control Room team for assistance.
